the rising sun

On one October morning, sometime very early in the dawn,
I thought why shud I lazy out why not move out on the lawn ?
I decided I should take a stroll, a walk in the heavenly stars.
They’ll just disappear in few minutes;
It would be the time for a new start.Yesterday still seems to behold my mind,
Its like a hangover of the memories,
Memories of the day I left behind.
Soon the sun will rise again.
The birds will chirp and squirrels play.
The world around me would be busy again.
Even I will come out of hangover to realise,

Yesterday never counts anyway.

I started strolling on the pavement across,
Just to take a short walk around.
And lo the sun has started rising,
As the sky has already turned dark brown.
I have started feeling its warmth within;
Its orange hue sends my heart pounding.

The new day has just began,
Its killing the dark and the dawn is unbinding.
I feel like stopping beneath a dark old tree,
But I can’t stop the sun rising beneath me.
I turn around to see it rising,
Growing strong and strong,

It seemed like god wanted to tell me something,
He wanted to tell me that I should continue moving on
He wanted to tell me that yesterday is past and its gone,
He is teaching me to bear the heat of today,
Just continue moving headstrong.

Realising the message I smile at sun.
Its scorching heat now does not burn.
Time never waits for anyone,
The hangover is fading like the fading dawn.
